History of Dhaula Kuan: 

Dhaula Kuan got its Name from a well in the area with white sand. The Name means white well in Hindi. It is one of the most famous wells in the Jheel Complex and was built by Shah Alam II, a Mughal emperor who ruled from 1761 to 1806.  

Because it’s right in the middle of the city, this place has become necessary for transportation. DTC buses from Delhi and buses from outside the city also go through here. It’s like a major crossroads for buses, making it even more significant for transportation.
